The John Fries Award is a non-acquisitive award of $10,000 for early career artists.

It’s an exciting opportunity for artists working in all media – from painting to conceptual art, performance to photography.

The Award is about providing a platform of discovery: it gives early-career artists a chance to work closely with a curator, grow connections in the industry and have their work seen by thousands through an exhibition and online gallery.
