Advance Your Career: The Organised Artist

As part of our Advance Your Career series for artist with disability or who are d/Deaf, Accessible Arts is partnering with ArtsSupport Australia to present a free online workshop designed to help artists with disability to develop practical strategies for managing their creative practice.

Staying organised as an artist can be difficult when you’re balancing creative work, administration, opportunities, marketing, and everyday life.

In this practical and interactive workshop, Sophia D’Urso from ArtSupport Australia will share simple tools and strategies to help artists get organised and stay on track. Together, we’ll look at setting goals, planning your week, managing opportunities and deadlines, and promoting your work without feeling overwhelmed.

All participants will receive practical tools and tips, digital worksheets and resources, and a plan to help stay organised and focused.

The session includes practical activities, discussion, and time for questions.

In this workshop, you will:

  • Set goals for their creative practice
  • Create a simple weekly plan
  • Learn ways to stay organised
  • Track opportunities, applications, and deadlines
  • Explore practical marketing and social media tips
