Showcasing some of Australia’s funniest comedians with disability or who are chronically ill, this accessible comedy event boasts a hilarious line-up headlined by Bec Charlwood and featuring Robyn Reynolds, John Robles, Jamal Abdul and Lily Starr, and hosted by award-winning comedian Madeleine Stewart.
Disabled comedians are just as funny as non-disabled comedians however they don’t always have equal access to gigs, and that my friend is no joke. Help make a difference by having a laugh and supporting some of Australia’s funniest comedians with disability, chronic illness or mental health conditions.

Comedian Line-Up
MC – Madeleine Stewart
Madeleine is an award-winning comedian with razor-sharp wit. She’s performed with Adam Hills, Rove McManus and Andrew Denton and is a co-writer of viral sketch ‘NDIS Fails’ with ABC’s Tonightly. Showcasing her ground-breaking exploration of disability and social norms, she’s performed at the Sydney Fringe, Sydney Comedy Festival and Melbourne Comedy Festival.
Headliner – Bec Charlwood
With effortless ability and hilarious candour, Bec delights audiences with anecdotes about her life and searing observations while wearing her heart, identity, and values on her sleeve. She has been hand-picked to support comedians such as Josh Thomas, Wil Anderson, Zoe Coombs Marr and Saturday Night Live’s Jay Pharaoh.
Robyn Reynolds
Robyn is a comedian and writer. Gorgeous and humble, much like yoghurt she’s a cultured delight. Handpicked for the Emerging Artist Sharehouse at Sydney Fringe Festival, her split-bill debut show, Relatable Material, was shortlisted for Best Comedy. Robyn was the Performance Maker in Residence for Comedy at the Old 505 Theatre.
John Robles
John Robles is a professional gay comedian with a winning smile. In 2019 he toured his sell-out stand up hour John Robles: Gay and Stupid across Australia and in 2020 he made his television debut on ABC’s At Home Alone Together and Planet America.
Jamal Abdul
Jamal was the winner of the Stand Up and Be Counted Comedy Competition in 2017 and RAW Comedy State Finalist in 2018. He has since gone on to perform as a part of the Sydney Comedy Festival and Melbourne International Comedy Festival and has received great reviews.
