This expert panel featured leading artists and technologists Thea-Mai Baumann, Louise Zhang and Amy Mills. They discussed the many exciting ways we might create and engage with art and explored how artists and organisations are innovating access and inclusion with new technology.

Applications are now open for Ripple: Disability and Culturally Diverse Internship Program. 

This valuable program is a partnership between Accessible Arts, Diversity Arts Australia, and a range of arts and cultural organisations across NSW and the ACT. These paid internships will be in a variety of creative and technical areas such as marketing, curating, production, front of house, arts administration, public programs, writing, producing, and editing within music, visual arts, theatre and publishing.

The hilarious stand-up comedy show ‘Are You Pulling My Leg?’ is heading to Laycock Street Theatre on the Central Coast on Saturday 29 April.

Showcasing some of Australia’s funniest comedians with disability or chronic illness, this accessible comedy event boasts a hilarious line-up headlined by Sam Kissajukian and featuring Robyn Reynolds, Jamal Abdul and Alexandra Hudson, and will be hosted by award-winning comedian Madeleine Stewart.

Congratulations to the 14 skilled participants who have been selected for Front & Centre 2023 – a career coaching and professional development program for women and non-binary people with disability working in the arts, creative and cultural sectors across NSW, the ACT, Victoria, South Australia and Tasmania. 
This 10-month program aims to increase the representation of women and non-binary people with disability in leadership positions such as artistic directors, board members and senior positions in programming and management.

Due to high demand, we will be running another online workshop with an Arts Law Solicitor to discuss your rights as an artist. Discover how to protect your work, where to get help if you need it and what happens when you make art with other artists. This session uses practical examples, case studies from artists’ experiences and hypothetical scenarios to help artists understand copyright, intellectual property and other relevant legal issues.
