As part of our Advance Your Career series, we’re excited to partner with Ignite Ability to bring you an exciting session ‘Exploring Self-Employment’.
Kickstart your journey today and turn your passion into a thriving business! This workshop will guide you through practical steps to turn your creativity into a successful business though helping you to:
- Understand the difference between a hobby and a business, and the value of each
- Evaluate the overall potential of your idea
- Identify your personal strengths, skills and role in your business
- Learn about the importance of having a supportive business community, and how to find one.
This workshop is designed to be accessible and inclusive for artists with disability or who are d/Deaf. It’s open to artists who:
- Have a business idea and want to develop it further
- Run a small business and are looking for extra support
- Don’t have a business idea yet but are curious about what it takes to start one
