Call Out :: Blacktown Arts Centre Performing Arts Mini-Residencies
Blacktown Arts Centre invites performing artists to apply for the 2009 mini-residency program.
The mini-residency program aims to provide financial and artistic support for individuals or small groups of artists who would like the opportunity to begin the process of developing new performance works.
Mini-residencies will be open to all types of performance including dance, theatre, music and cross-artform practice. Up to $5000 will be allocated to each residency for use as artist fees, mentoring fees and production costs.
When: Applications close 31 July 2008 for 2 - 3 weeks residencies in 2009.
Where: Residencies will take place at Blacktown Arts Centre Performance Studio with access to a range of in-kind facilities and services.
Who: Applicants must either reside in or be able to demonstrate a close association with Blacktown and/or Western Sydney.
