Studio Project - Artists with Disabilities Head To The Studio
The program provides visual artists with a disability with an opportunity to expand their artistic discipline and technical skills through a series of eighteen workshops.
Nine artists with varying disabilities have an opportunity to take part in the program that will be conducted one day per week for eighteen weeks. The program builds on the artists’ already developed skills of drawing and painting and offers ceramics, printmaking and studio practice.
Accessible Arts in partnership with the City of Sydney Pine Street Creative Arts Centre is delighted to announce the successful applicants for the 2008 program which is being funded by the Sidney Myer Foundation.
Accessible Arts is the peak arts and disability body in NSW and promotes full inclusion, access and cultural opportunities in the arts for people with disabilities through advocacy, education and information.
