Blacktown Arts Centre - Performing Arts Mini-Residencies
Blacktown Arts Centre invites performing artists to apply for the 2009 mini-residency program. Up to $5000 will be allocated to each residency for use as artist fees, mentoring fees and production costs.
Mini-residencies will be open to all types of performance including dance, theatre, music and cross artform practice. Applicants must reside in or be able to demonstrate a close association with Blacktown and/or Western Sydney. Typical residencies will run between 2-3 weeks and artists will have full use of the BAC Performance Studio and access to a range of in-kind facilities and services during this period. It is envisaged that three mini-residencies will be awarded in 2009.
