Biography:
I have worked extensively as a workshop artist and performer with integrated companies in Australia and the UK. (eg. I have toured and worked with Back to Back Theatre and am currently doing professional development with the ensemble. I go to London next month to eprform with Amici Dance Theatre in their 25th anniversary production). I am an actor and musician. My numerous credits in theatre and opera include performances with The Royal Opera, Covent Garden, Welsh National Opera, Opera de Lyon, London Modern Music Theatre Troupe, Chamber Made Opera, Back to Back Theatre, Voiceworks Theatre, Mainstreet Theatre Company and the Queensland Theatre Company. Operatic roles performed range from Ellen Orford in Peter Grimes to Mimi in La Boheme. As soprano soloist, I have appeared with Melbourne Symphony Orchestra, Orchestres de Bayonne et Bordeaux, Surrey Sinfonietta, London Civil Services Orchestra and the Australian Pops Orchestra performing works ranging from Ravel's Sheherezade and Strauss' Four Last Songs to popular and comedy songs. My approach is very flexible, depending on the needs of the group. It is all inclusive and accessible. My aim is to inspire vocal confidence and to 'free' the voice. This confidence then feeds into other aspects of life. I usually work in a circle formation, require no facilities, just a space.

Biography:
I trained as a secondary teacher in music and drama, have worked in these fields for approx 30 years but as a composer, director and sound designer. I am free lance and have had much experience working with adults with a wide range of abilities. I use many techniques to achieve the results I want, and do not ever start with a set of fixed expectations. My aim is simply to get them to be able to play music either alone or in a group and to gain pleasure and stimulation from this. I have approx. 30 years experience as a composer, sound designer, voice and singing teacher, theatre director and theatrical collaborator. Recent work includes music therapy at Minimbah - training centre for severely intellectually disabled adults. I also run music workshops for Theatre of Image for children aged between 5 and 11. Current work is writing a major song cycle for 4 singers and composing a score for a new production of a play in Sydney.

Biography:
I am a drummer with Cerebral Palsy who has been working around the mainstream Australian Music Scene since the late 80s. Being born with a disability, I have an understanding of what people have to go through to perform even the simplest of tasks which able-bodied people take for granted. Some of my work with people with disabilities has included workshops at Spastic Centre of NSW, Novita, Adelaide, and various 1 to 1 rehabilitation sessions with various people around Sydney. I run a workshop program called 'The Drums in Motion Project' which is aimed at people with disabilities. During my workshops I share my ideas on how I have managed to overcome certain physical aspects of drumming, and become the drummer I am today. Each participant in the workshop program learns to play simple rhythms on a drum kit or percussive instrument, which helps them express themselves in a more creative way than they would normally be able to, also it will help them become motivated and boost their self esteem. Also, this will be a way to help each participant develop co-ordination skills and improve their fine motor skills.
