Disability Arts Workers Network (DAWN)
What is the DAWN?
Accessible Arts has formed a network of people who work in the area of arts and disability called DAWN (Disability Arts Workers Network). The network encompasses arts tutors, facilitators, community cultural development workers, arts therapists and disability/health workers. DAWN aims to provide professional development, advocacy and networking opportunities for arts & disability workers throughout NSW.

Networking
Accessible Arts also has a database of disability arts workers. You can place your information on the database and advertise your skills to potential employers. If someone is seeking a person with a particular skill they can contact Accessible Arts and we can scan the database and put the parties in touch with each other.
Training
See Future Plans below for further DAWN training. Accessible Arts also runs Disability Awareness and Access training for arts organisations and individuals. We can also source information about external training courses and their availability if required.
Information
Accessible Arts already provides information about activities, events and opportunities available in the disability arts sector via the website and comprehensive monthly e-bulletin. All you need is an email address (free through Gmail, Yahoo or Hotmail) and you can keep updated on all the latest news every month.

Accessible Arts are collecting information about the needs and interests of disability arts workers and disability organizations involved with arts programs.
